I grew up in Germany and always dreamed about how it would be to live on an island. For many years I worked at a TV station in Hamburg, traveling all over the world filming; I had found my dream job after I studied photography. But the voice in my head, saying it would be nice to live on an island, never really stopped. In 2001, I followed my heart and moved to Hawaii. I feel so lucky that I get to do what I love most - photographing people and creating videos. During my career in television, I always planned out every single detail of a film production. When I started planning weddings, I immediately experienced it as a natural fit for me. To this day I approach each and every ceremony with the same level of exacting detail.

Jonathan Tardros | Second Photographer
Jonathan is photographer and second videographer. A bit of a "Jon-of-all-trades", Jonathan is a helpful part of your wedding from start to finish. He's here to help set up, decorate and photograph or film. After graduating from Columbus College of Art and Design he started a career in forestry working in the Pacific Northwest and Alaska; he found endless beauty in Alaska and soon his camera was along on every job, hike, and adventure he went on. He would migrate between Alaska and Hawaii, in the winters, for 6 years before permanently moving to the Kealakekua Bay area where he has lived since 2015. When he's not carrying the wedding arch or 2nd camera he is working as a landscaper and training for the Ironman Triathlon.

Portrait Session
This one hour session is perfect to show that you brought the family to Hawaii. We photograph you and your family at a scenic beach to show the beauty of the island while featuring your family. When photographing families we have one goal in mind. We want to show your natural smile and see everybody relaxed and enjoying themselves. We take fun posed group photos as well as candid photos. Children are our specialty. We love children and children love our sessions.
