It gives us the freedom to create something more expansive, cinematic, and location-driven during your honeymoon. Because some of Hawaiʻi’s most extraordinary landscapes simply do not fit naturally into a wedding-day timeline.

A Honeymoon Editorial is an intentional, dedicated post-wedding photography session created during your time on the Big Island. Unlike most wedding photography, it gives you the liberating freedom to dress up again—or choose an entirely different look—and be photographed in locations that would be difficult to include on your wedding day.
You may wear your wedding dress, suit, tuxedo, veil, haku, lei, or something more relaxed. You do not need to have been married in Hawaiʻi. Couples who married at home, at a courthouse, on another island, or in another country are equally welcome.
Because the session stands apart from the wedding day, we can plan it around the light, landscape, and pace that best suit you and create a truly magical tribute to your union.

Hawaii Honeymoon Editorials begin at $995. Each experience is individually designed around your vision, location, photography coverage, travel, access, and timing. From a one-hour Kona Coast editorial to a sunrise-to-starlight adventure across the island, we will create a custom experience and proposal for you. Private property, venue fees, and specialized access may be additional.

No. Honeymoon Editorials are available to couples visiting the Big Island after getting married anywhere in the world.
Do we have to book our wedding with Beach Glass Weddings?
No. You may reserve a Honeymoon Editorial whether or not Beach Glass Weddings planned or photographed your wedding.
Does the session have to take place the day after our wedding?
No. Your Honeymoon Editorial can take place at any point during your honeymoon.
Can we wear our wedding attire?
Yes. Many couples wear their wedding dress, suit, tuxedo, veil, leis, haku, or another wedding-inspired look. You may also choose something more relaxed or create an entirely different style.
Can we choose the location?
Yes. We will guide you toward locations that suit your vision, schedule, comfort level, permit requirements, and the season.
Are photography permits included?
Yes. We determine which permits are required and include them in your Honeymoon Editorial.
What happens if the weather changes?
We monitor the weather closely and prepare contingency plans. Depending on the location and conditions, we may adjust the timing, change locations, or use a backup plan.
Can we add drone photography or video?
Drone photography and cinematic video may be available as add-ons where legally permitted and when conditions are safe. Availability depends on the location, weather, airspace restrictions, and our production schedule.
Can you arrange hair, makeup, flowers, and leis?
Yes. We can help arrange professional hair and makeup, a bridal bouquet, leis, a haku, and other styling details. These services are quoted separately and are subject to vendor availability.
Can we book a Honeymoon Editorial on another Hawaiian island?
Yes. Beach Glass Weddings is based on the Big Island, but Honeymoon Editorials may be created on other Hawaiian islands. Your custom proposal will reflect interisland travel, lodging when required, ground transportation, location fees, and any additional planning.
How far in advance should we inquire?
Last-minute bookings are welcome. You may contact us as soon as your travel dates are confirmed, but Honeymoon Editorial availability is often finalized closer to your stay. Remote locations, styling services, and sessions requiring additional arrangements may need more notice.
