Big Island wedding locations

The Big Island of Hawaii offers some of the most breathtaking outdoor wedding locations in the world. From iconic white-sand beaches and dramatic volcanic landscapes to secluded coastal settings and adventurous off-the-beaten-path locations, Hawaii provides an extraordinary natural backdrop for your wedding day.

At Beach Glass Weddings, we have been planning outdoor ceremonies on the Big Island for more than 20 years. That experience has given us an intimate knowledge of the island’s landscapes, access requirements, permitting regulations, weather patterns, and the unique considerations that come with planning an outdoor wedding in Hawaii.

Public County and State beaches may occasionally close due to weather, ocean conditions, or other safety concerns. Couples who prefer greater certainty and privacy may want to consider a private venue, such as the Kona Sea Salt Farm. A private venue is also an excellent option for weddings with larger guest counts or for couples who would like a more substantial ceremony setup with chairs, floral installations, and other décor.
