Experience one of Hawaii’s most pristine white sand beaches

An Adventure Like No Other

For the adventurous couple hoping to wed on a natural white sand beach, look no further than Kekaha Kai State Park (formerly Kona Coast State Park). Kekaha Kai is located just north of Kona International Airport and offers classic views of white sand meeting turquoise water with palm trees swaying in the distance. Because it is such an excellent spot for snorkeling, swimming and sunbathing, it is well regarded by beach goers but still remains less crowded than more accessible beaches.

Off Roading In Hawaii

The couple who craves adventure will love the 20 minute drive that requires offroading to reach the beach as well as the guided 15 minute walk to the best spot along the glittering shore. The trek is well worth the effort as this beach offers some of the most scenic views in all of Hawaii. Book a weekday wedding date and experience true seclusion at this popular beach during the quiet weektime hours.

Important Notes about Kekaha Kai State Park

Though the beach is centrally located, it does take effort to arrive at the ceremony location. We do not recommend this venue if you will have guests who are elderly or have mobility restrictions, and we would encourage you to book the more accessible Kohanaiki Beach nearby. We will be able to provide a wedding arch, a small table, and cushions for your guests. We do not recommend chairs due to the softness of the sand.
